- Helping incapacitated at risk young adults move from uncertainty to self-sufficiency is hard but it can be done.
- Providing the right mix of education, training, career, support services and partnerships that will help facilitate the growth of the foster care movement.
- Identifying an effective continuum of education and vocational counseling, employment, mental health, job placement, financial literacy, life skills training, and mentoring supportive services.
- Distinguishing past and present programs in Los Angeles County that hold promise in moving the incapacitated at risk young foster adults to economic self-sufficiency.
